2010 has been a year full of change, growth, excitement, and success for business owners in the Internet marketing industry. Many people that I know personally and professionally really underwent some MAJOR changes in the past year.

It seemed as though 2010 was the pivotal point from which we could undergo the massive changes that needed to be made, and now move forward into the new decade.

With that being said I want to share 3 things that I think made a big impact on Social Media Marketing over the last year. And while I know you can’t possibly sum up a year in 3 simple events… these stick out in my mind as game-changers for myself and many people I know.

Are there certain blogs that you read often?  Have you ever wondered why?  Usually they’re doing a few things that make you want to come back often.  When it comes to building a personal brand, the more you can get your readers coming back… the better.

This past weekend was a holiday weekend here in Canada and as I was laying in my hammock at the cottage, enjoying the cool breeze off the lake, I realized that my business is running “somewhat” on autopilot.

A big part of it running this way is the use of autoresponders. If you’re not sure what an autoresponder is, Wikipedia describes it as “a computer program that automatically answers email sent to it”.
